Garnier Pure Active Anti-imperfection cleansing gel- £2.95 from
Superdrug

Skin Clear Daily Face Scrub- £3.49 from Boots

Garnier Pure Active Anti-imperfection cleansing gel:
This cleanser makes my face feel fresh and clean, it is great at taking makeup off. My skin is a combination of oily and dry skin and I feel it is great at controlling it once massaging it onto your skin. I have also heard that it is good for acne prone skin as it keeps the redness and acne a lot calmer. It doesn't dry out my skin and it hasn't become more oily from the cleanser "stripping it". I think its a good cleanser for its price.

Skin Clear Daily Face Scrub:
The Boots Skin Clear Deep Clean Daily Face Wash works to unclog pores, reduce excess oils and is gentle enough for everyday use. The texture once putting it onto your skin is very subtle and has a creamy like base. (Sorry I couldn't show you a picture of the liquid inside). But anyways I feel once putting it onto your skin, it is very smooth and has tiny blue bits which works as it exfoliates your skin and helps to unclog pores. In my opinion I think this is a good product to use in a everyday basis as this keeps your skin all fresh and you feel more awake in the mornings! :))

Beauticology Body Butter- gingerbread
Beauticology Body wash- gingerbread
*They both came in a set with other two products which are shower creme- hot chocolate and it came with another body butter which was marshmallow. * The set was £6.50
Click here to preview the set
Beauticology Body butter- gingerbread:
This body butter is really smooth on your skin and the scent lasts upto 2-3 days on your skin. The texture is light and is not as thick as other body butters which I think is a good thing as almost instantly it will melt into your skin. However, if you prefer a thicker texture I would highly recommend the Bath and Body works body butter- White Citrus, as personally I think thicker body butters allows the scent to last longer on your skin than light ones, but as I have stated before, light body butters instantly melts into your skin which is good. In my opinion, I don't really mind which type of body butters I use in terms of light or thick as it really depends on how you apply it on to your skin.

 Beauticology shower creme- gingerbread:
This shower creme is absolutely amazing. The texture is fine and runny, as well as having a hint of glitter in the liquid. I feel once putting it onto your body it has an instant aroma that rushes through your nose which smells soo nice.

Alberto Balsam shampoo and conditioner- Pomegranate
-£1.20 from Sainsbury's

The pomegranate shampoo and conditioner is packed full of anti-oxidants and is great for your hair. I feel that they deeply cleanse and strengthens your hair and they also leave them smelling superfruity! It uses the same ingredients you'll find in higher priced brands, but at a great price which means you can afford to look glamorous every day! Hair smells as good as it feels! I really recommend you to try this out, because not only it is cheaper but instead of using up a lot of money on high brand shampoo and conditioners, these 'alberto balsam' ones works the same way which I think is really good for the price! :))

Skincare- No7

Skincare review- No7 Beautiful Skin
No7 Beautiful Skin Cleansing Water 200ml £9.50 from Boots
No7 Beautiful Skin Day Cream 50ml £12.50 from Boots

The smell of both these products are absolutely amazing, really fruity and summery. One thing I like on this water cleanser though, is the pump. Not a lot of the water cleansers I've tried have a pump, and require you to use the "tip and squeeze/shake" method (one which normally ends in an overly drenched cotton pad).

The main thing that meant this cleanser wasn't up there with my favourites though, was that I didn't find it that good at removing makeup. Great for a skin boost in the morning yes, but removing makeup (even a light coating) took too many cotton pad refills and left my skin feeling a little tacky.

The moisturiser is also really lovely. The cream is a nice consistency and again, smells amazing. It does feel quite thick on the skin, even though it says it's for normal/oily skin. I'm not too sure whether I slot into the normal/oily skin category, but it was either that or dry which at the moment, I'm not so much (since using my beloved ReGen cream). It would be nice if No7 came out with a beautiful skin range to suit "normal/sensitive skin" or just "combination skin".

Overall I was impressed with the few products I tried although they haven't taken the lead in the skincare stakes. I think that I will have to pop into Boots to have a little look at other items in the range, the cleansing gel and balm sound interesting. For now, my boyfriend has stolen both of these, and as far as I know (after a little lesson from me in how to use water cleanser - pretty sure he would have just splashed it all over his face over the sink) is enjoying using them, as he obviously doesn't need makeup removal. ;)

Makeup- Foundations

Makeup~

Foundations
Rimmel Wake Me Up foundation:

For me this is probably the best foundation to use as for me when you wear it, it doesn't get oily throughout the day. The smell is very light and fresh, the colour is looks natural on your face. It's easy to apply, gives a radiant, dewy finish because of the shimmer and can stay on for about 4-6 hours if the weather is not to hot. For me if you wear this foundation then you don't necessarily need to wear concealer as it gives a natural look. Overall I think that this product is affordable and I recommend people who don't have oily skin. You can find this in any drugstore for £8.99.

Bourjois Healthy Mix Serum:

I personally think the foundation is great and the coverage is amazing as it covers up most imperfections. It's buildable so if you want a light coverage you can get a light coverage, and if you want a very heavy coverage you can get heavy coverage. The only down side to this serum is that it doesn't quite work with oily skin but overall the coverage is flawless and I would recommend this to people who don't have oily skin. This costs £10.99 from any drugstore.

(If you do have oily skin and you want to wear those foundations then you can still put them on but I recommend you put 'No7 Beautiful Skin' before hand and I am going to write more about it in my next blog post.)

Bourjois 123 Perfect Foundation:

This foundation makes your skin look really even toned, which is good if you often have redness. It also blends in really well and doesn't look patchy. In addition, it has a matte finish and lasts long, but I wouldn't say it lasts as much as 16 hours. The coverage is very nice covering redness and blemishes and it feels light once on. This costs £10.99 in boots or superdrugs.

17 Hide and Chic Foundation:

17 Hide and Chic Foundation is touted to be an 'anti-fatigue' foundation with 'light reflecting pearls' and 'herbal extracts to energize and brighten skin'. It also contains and SPF of 15 which makes this a great day time foundation. It is a medium-buildable coverage but can be sheer if less product is used or built up to almost full coverage for a flawless base.

MeMeMe Flawless Cream Foundation:

MeMeMe Flawless Cream Foundation is gives you a hydrated and revitalised complexion whilst protecting it from the environment with SPF 15. As soon as apply it on your skin it blends really smoothly and effortlessly. The finish on the skin is semi-matte but not at all chalky or cakey. I always look for foundations with an SPF because it's important to protect your face from the sun. You can find this in superdrugs for £12.50.

xx Hope this was helpful xx
